Westella

I have been shearing the Westella sheep for several years now and they are the best White Suffolk sheep in the district, they have great temperament, no worries shearing and just great healthy sheep. Would definitely recommend them for sure.

If you’re after terminal sires that perform, then I believe you can't go past Westella White Suffolks. We are into our second season of Westella rams and to say we are extremely happy would be an understatement. Our rams have given us lambs that have fantastic length, excellent growth rates, first class yield and great evenness. This seasons top draft of lambs averaged 4 decks at $295 (10 months of age and avg 69Kg) and the overall average for the 2018 drop lambs was $275, with the second draft having an over the hook yield of over 52%!! The quality of the rams is not the only plus of dealing with Westella, Craig’s experience, broad view of what’s currently happening in the sheep sector at the time and his personal service, make for a fantastic package to compliment the quality sheep. Through his broad connections in the sheep industry, Craig is able to give top quality advice on the marketing of both your lambs and the wool off their backs.
